Union Minister Nitin Gadkari gave information that the Construction of roads is happening fast on the border amid dispute with China. 

Gadkari said that better infrastructure brings industries and creates employment. This will simultaneously increase the value of agricultural and other products of the border areas.
New Delhi Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said on Sunday that several projects related to border infrastructure are underway in Jammu and Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh. Gadkari said that BRO and NHIDCL are working on these projects. He said work is underway on 17 strategic highways and airstrips. Three of these projects have been completed. 

Apart from this, the ambitious project of Rs 12,000 crore is being worked at full speed. After the completion of this project, all-weather connectivity to Gangotri, Kedarnath, Yamunotri and Badrinath will be developed. Gadkari's statement came at a time when there is tension on the border between India and China.
