Sovereign Gold Bond: Learn the special features of this bond, method of investment and other information

New Delhi, Business Desk. The investment option has opened in the fourth series of the Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 2020-21 from Monday. Investment in gold has increased during this period of crisis related to Corona as gold is generally seen as safe haven. 

The government has fixed a price of Rs 4,852 per gram for the fourth series of gold bonds.

Investments can be made in this scheme till July 10. The Reserve Bank had informed in April this year that from April 20 to September 2020, the government will bring 6 series of Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme.

The Reserve Bank issues this bond on behalf of the Government of India.
